Bernard Grégoire retires

Hamilton Kent would like to announce the retirement of Bernard Grégoire, President and COO of Hamilton Kent. .



Bernard has dedicated his entire career to serving the manufacturing industry. With a background in engineering, he was always in search of creative and innovative methods to solve problems, and he applied this approach to both his career and volunteer activities. In addition to leading Hamilton Kent for more than 26 years, Bernard also served on several boards and industry associations, including the American Concrete Pipe Association from 2003 to 2006 as well as the Ontario Concrete Pipe Association in the mid-2000’s. He also served on the board of the Tire and Rubber Association of Canada. .



Bernard was passionate about growth, and during his tenure was responsible for making 2 acquisitions – IPS in 2006 and NC Rubber in 2001, both of which expanded HK’s footprint significantly. Bernard also expanded Hamilton Kent’s manufacturing base, with the commissioning of a new manufacturing location in Winchester TN in 2007. .

Our success has only been possible thanks to a great team of technical, hardworking individuals that shared our value of honesty and integrity while providing the best support, service and quality that our customers deserve.” .



With the retirement of Bernard, we are pleased to announce that Ivan Stiehl will assume the role of President and General Manager of Hamilton Kent. Ivan has a background in Mechanical Engineering and brings a wealth of experience in Manufacturing and Innovation from within the Aliaxis NA Group. As the President and GM, Hamilton Kent, Ivan will continue to build strong relationships within the industry and focus on delivering exceptional value to our customers. According to Ivan, “I am excited about what the future holds for Hamilton Kent and I look forward to building on the reputation left by the legacy of Bernard’s contribution and what that means for our customers, industry partners and teammates.
