Designed to replace mortared joints between connecting pipes and a concrete pipe or structure, Tylox® WallKore HKT connectors will save you construction time and money.
Engineered to accommodate differential settlement, the flexible, rubber construction of the Tylox® WallKore HKT connector allows for watertight connections of at least 5 psig in straight alignment.
By minimizing joint leakage due to differential settlement, the Tylox® WallKore HKT connector saves you operating time and money by:
- Reducing costly joint maintenance
- Reducing the potential for environmental hazards and clean-up
- Reducing the chances for ground-water contamination
- Reducing “clean-outs” required due to soil ingress
Tylox® WallKore HKT connectors are available in two models:
HKT-PMH, for connections into concrete structures.

HKT-PP, for connections into concrete pipes.

The HKT-PP features a built in stop, to prohibit the intrusion of the lateral pipe into the ID of the main pipe run.

Materials and Identification
Tylox™ HKT connectors are manufactured from synthetic rubber compounds, to meet the material requirements of ASTM C923.
Connectors are available for “Standard” or “Oil-resistant” applications. Oil-resistant connectors will have an orange dot on the rubber molding.
Other materials and specifications may be available as custom order. Please consult your Hamilton Kent representative regarding your specific requirement.
Pressure Rating
Tylox® HKT style connectors are designed for watertight connections of at least 5 psig in straight alignment.
SDS
Tylox® HKT style connectors are not WHIMIS listed.
Tylox® HKT style connectors are made from crosslinked, polymeric rubber, which is not considered a health hazard. As with any rubber product, the connector may smolder or burn when exposed to a naked flame. Fire-fighters should wear self-contained, positive-pressure, or pressure-demand, breathing apparatus; and utilize water-spray, air-foam, dry chemical or CO2 type extinguishing media.
Storage and Handling
Proper care of the connector prior to installation will ensure maximum ease of installation and maximum sealing properties of the connector.
Connectors must not be stored near any electrical equipment that produces ozone.
All connectors must be protected from harmful substance such as dirt, mud, dust and grit.
All connectors, other than oil-resistant connectors, must be protected from contact with solvents and petroleum based greases and oils.
