The Tylox® MIB Series of flexible rubber, mechanically installed boot connectors, are designed to replace mortared connections between a concrete manhole or structure and 2" thru 20" (50mm thru 500mm) PVC pipes. Boot connectors form a water-tight seal, to ASTM C923 specification requirements, between a cored/formed hole in the concrete structure and the connecting pipe. They utilize a mechanical mechanism to fasten the rubber sleeve to the structure, and a hose clamp to fasten the rubber sleeve to the connecting pipe. MIB connectors are available in standard or oil-resistant (nitrile) rubber compounds.

The Tylox® HKT Series of flexible rubber, interference-fit connectors, are designed to replace mortared connections between a concrete pipe, manhole or structure and 4" thru 15" (100mm thru 375mm) PVC pipes. Interference-fit connectors form a water-tight seal, to ASTM C923 specification requirements, between a cored/formed hole in the concrete structure and the connecting pipe. The connector sleeve is pressed into the cored/formed hole, and then an interference fit between the pipe O.D. and the rubber sealing member is used to establish the seal between the structure, sleeve and pipe. HKT connectors are available in standard or oil-resistant (nitrile) rubber compounds.
